We are delighted to be recruiting for an inspiring and ambitious Curriculum Leader of Science to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Lancashire from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or current middle leader who is passionate about driving standards and leading a high-performing department.

The Role

As Curriculum Leader, you will:

• Lead and develop the Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress
• Support and develop colleagues within the department
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to raise attainment
• Promote a culture of enthusiasm for Science across the school

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Science Teacher (QTS)
• Have strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism
• Demonstrate a proven impact on student outcomes
• Have the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team
• Be committed to continuous improvement and high standards
