Your background as an Engineering Project Manager
- Strong project management or project scheduling or project coordination experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including some experience of using Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Experience of working within an electrical engineering environment or delivering projects that include electrical engineering would be advantageous, but not essential.
- You will be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills to help build strong working relationships and the completion of project documentation.
The Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities
- You will lead projects and be the key point of contact both internally and externally on a range of engineering projects which vary in complexity and size.
- You will work closely and collaboratively with sales, production, and engineering to ensure projects are completed for customers to specification, agreed budgets, and deadlines.
- Scheduling and coordinating key projects from conception to installation and commissioning.
- Managing multiple projects at anyone time that are at different points in the engineering and manufacturing process.
- Creating and handling all aspects of project documentation.
