AgreatopportunityforaJuniorSiteReliabilityEngineertojoinanorganisationwhowillbetransitioningtowardsaDevOpsenvironment,andpickuprelevantskillsalongtheway.
TherolewillbejoiningaleadingsoftwarehouseincentralBath,buildingandmaintaininginfrastructurefortheirSaaSproducts.Theyareintheprocessofinvestingheavilyintheirtechnicalenvironmentandarelookingforanengineerwhocanhelpwithnewtechimplementations.
Coreresponsibilitieswillinclude:
Maintaininghostinginfrastructure(ensuringavailabilityofweb,databaseandmessagingsystems)
Managingservers(acrossdevelopment,testandproduction)
Monitorrespondtoinfrastructureevents(suchasavailabilityandcapacitymanagement)
Beproactivewithinfrastructureupgrades
