The Opportunity

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site based in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high‑performing engineering team within a fast‑paced environment, where you'll play a key role in ensuring site reliability and driving continuous improvement.

With a salary of up to £53,000, this role offers excellent earning potential alongside long‑term stability and career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime
• Work on a range of systems including motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance machine reliability and efficiency
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
• Accurately complete maintenance records using CMMS

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems and controls
• Experience with PLCs (fault finding preferable)
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
• A proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
