SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) – Role Overview: Teach pupils within EYFS/KS1 as a SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) in a specialist setting Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs Work closely with dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide consistent, targeted support Support pupils in developing independence, communication skills, and confidence as a SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) Monitor progress against EHCP targets and adapt provision accordingly Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) – Candidate Profile: UK QTS would be necessary for the appointed SEN Teacher (EYFS/ KS1) Experience working within EYFS and/or KS1, ideally with SEN pupils Strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching Passion for supporting children to grow in independence and confidence as a SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) role would suit both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to develop within a highly supportive specialist setting.
